Woodcarving

Norway has a long and rich tradition of woodcarving, reflecting both craftsmanship and cultural heritage.

From time to time, our lodge offers chip carving sessions. These classes are announced through our newsletter, email updates, and website, and are dependent on instructor availability.

Members of the Solglyt Lodge woodworking group have also created a detailed 1:15 scale replica of the historic Gol Stave Church. The model is now permanently displayed at Augustana Campus in Camrose, Alberta.
